Sample Import

Drag and drop you samples file to square field.


Sample Slice

You can add sample slice points here(max 32 slice points).

Adding Slice Points

When pencil icon is selected, you can add/delete slice points.

pencil icon = edit mode
play icon = slice preview mode
lock icon = lock mode


You can add a slice point by clicking somewhere on waveform window.

You can move slice point by click + hold and moving you mouse.

You can delete slice point by shift + click on a slice point.

Auto Slice

Adding Slice Points” menu = adding slice points with a certain interval


Re-Arrange Sliced Samples

This is a step sequencer for re-arranging sliced samples.

Controlling Step Sequencer

You can control sequencer start point and end point with this blue bar.

>, <, ><1, ><2, R1, R2” = running directions of step sequencer
Speed = running speed
Rate = playback speed of sliced sample(50 to 200%)

You can rotate step values with arrow buttons.

Step OnOff, Reverse, Lock

OnOff = if this switch is on, that step will be triggered
Rev = in this switch is on, selected slice of that step will be playback reversed
Lock = if this switch is on, that step will not be affected by randomize/clear action

Randomize/Clear Step Values

You can randomize/clear step values by “r/c” button.

Gate, Volume Sliders

You can control gate time and volume of each step here.


Snapshot

You can make 12 snapshots of step values.
You can also change snapshot by midi note input.

Copy/Paste Snapshot

Copy from menu = snapshot which will be copied
Paste to menu = paste target snapshot
Push = copy/paste snapshot

Preview Slice Sound

In this mode, you can preview sliced sample sound.

Clicking sliced sample, you can preview it.

Lock Mode

Selecting third icon, slice editor becomes lock mode.
In this mode, slice editor ignore mouse event.
So that you can not add/delete move slice points.


Slice Arranger

Step Settings

Slider = you can set triggered slice number of each step
Grid1 = step lock, you can lock state of that step
Grid2 = reverse on/off, if this switch is on, slice of that step is reversed
Grid3 = step on/off, if this switch is off that step will muted

Controlling Slicer Seq

Each of three slice has own sequencer.
So you can set it independently.

“> < ><1 ><2 R1 R2” = running direction
Speed = running speed


Gate Section

You can control state of all threes gates by grid sequencer.

Example

In this case, “gate1” is selected at step1 of gate grid.
So gate of slicer1 will opened.
If “Mute” is selected all gate will be closed.

Adding Slice Marker

Shifting Slice Marker

Shift + clicking slice marker, that slice marker will be delete.

Grid Sequencer for Rearranging Sliced Samples

Gate Control

Step Size = step size of grid seq
Pattern = grid pattern snapshots

Probability of Grid On

You can control trigger chance of grid on by these values.
blue for row1 of grid seq, green for row2, yellow for row3

example
In this case blue value is 100,
so grid on status of row1 is always triggered.

And green value is 50,
so grid on status of row2 has 50% chance of triggered.

Yellow value is 0,
so grid on status of row3 has no chance of triggered.
