Structure


Multi Point Envelope

You can modulate filter cutoff, pan, amp by multi point envelope.

1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32” : trigger interval of multi point envelope
Step Size : step size of multi point envelope
Smooth : smoothing output of multi point envelope
Rnd/Reset : randomize/reseting multi point envelope
Snapshot : snapshot of envelope states

Making Curve:

Holding down “option” key, then dragging mouse vertically.


Filter, Pan, Amp Setting

Filter:
Cutoff : filter cutoff
Reso : resonance level
Env >> CF : modulation depth(-100 to +100 %)

Pan:
Env >> Pan : modulation depth

Amp:
Env ON : controlling multi env to amp on/off
Mix : mix level of modulated amp signal


Grid Sequencer

You can control filter gates on/off by grid sequencer.

> < >< R” : running direction
1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32” : running speed
Triplet : triple on/off
Step Size : step size of grid sequencer(2 to 16)
R/C : randomize/clear grid states
Snapshot : snapshot of grid states

Gain : gain level

Clear Button for Envelope Editor

Clicking “clear” button, envelope editor will be clear.

You can draw envelope shape from scratch.


Map Function

You can assign multi-point envelope to a external parameter.

Number Box = depth of envelope to assigned parameter(0 to 100%)

Envelope and LFO

Envelope:
A = attack time
D = decay time
R = release time

LFO:
MenuBox = waveform
Sync” = bpm sync switch
Rate = lfo speed

Grid Sequencer

In this case:
step1 : only gate of filter1 will be open
step2 : gates of filter1 and filter3 will be open
step3 : no filter will be triggered
step4 : all filters will be triggered

R = randomize grid state
C = clear grid state
A = turn all grid states on

This is a midi controlled version of TriGator2.
Gates are controlled by midi note via receiver patch.

Usage
Sending midi information to TriGator2_Midi,
you need to use sender patch.
Make midi track then load “TriGator_sender” patch like picture below.

Gates

There are 3 gates in this patch.
Gate1 = after audio input
Gate2 = after filter outputs
Gate3 = after delay outputs

Amp Level of Gate Off

You can set “Amp Level” of gate off here.

In this case, value of “G1” is about 90%.
So amp level of gate off in Gate1 is about 90% of incoming signal.
In this case, value of “G3” is about 0%.
So amp level of gate off in Gate3 is 0 = no sound.


Filter Control

You can control cutoff frequency of lowpass filter by step seq.

Lo/Hi = lowest and highest value of output values
Q = resonance
Smt = smoothness of value changes between step and step

Pan Control

You can control panning positions by step seq.

Rtt = stereo rotator

You can control delay time by step seq.

Lo/Hi = in this case “Lo” value is 174. this means step value = delay time 174 ms
FB = delay feedback
